LLangollen continued their un-beaten run in Division 2 North East on Saturday with an emphatic 46-0 at home against Flint. A solid team performance saw the LLan pack dominate in the set piece and the back line running hard and with purpose which was reflected with fullback James Claybrook crossing for 4 tries, along with scrum half Charlie Turner and second row Dan Roberts who added a try a piece. Outside half Roger Chadwick capped of fine display adding 5 conversions and 3 penalties. Coach Mark Price added afterwards “today was a great performance for us, we had set out to dominate the set piece and disrupt Flint’s ball. We achieved that and gave ourselves a fantastic platform. James had a storming game finishing off some great moves which involved all players. We are continually looking to improve and the lads have said themselves after the game that we can still fine tune more which is always a great positive. We have a friendly against Mold 3rds next Saturday to give all our squad a run out and then we have a North Wales cup game at Wrexham 4th Nov before we are back in league action.”
